Lauren Warren
Founder
Lauren Warren is a screenwriter, actor, world traveller and former military brat currently splitting her time between Los Angeles and Toronto. She lists her earliest film influences as Aliens, Die Hard and Terminator 2: Judgment Day and uses that inspiration to scribe stories with female leads, lots of explosions, weapons, sharp, dark wit and humor.
In addition to her screenwriting and script coverage work for members of the Academy and Directors Guild of America, she is the founder of Validvictorian Productions - a company with a project slate for film, television and new media that centers traditionally underrepresented audiences and creates opportunities for inclusive work environments behind the scenes.
Her editorial work and entertainment industry commentary can be found on niche entertainment industry sites and CBC Radio One’s All In A Day, Real Feminist Stories, Geek Homeworld, Not Your Mama’s Gamer, Offworld/BoingBoing, as well her personal blog.
She is the co-creator and co-host of Nerds of Prey, a pop culture podcast with listeners around the world and over 10k+ downloads per month. In 2018, she was admitted to Identity School of Acting in Los Angeles, studying movement, text, voice and scene work under the tutelage of industry professionals and has and applied her training to enrich her current and future projects.
You can find always find her writing, procrastinating on Twitter, perfecting her otter meme game, causing mischief in Los Santos, patrolling the Commonwealth for deathclaws or taking down dragons in Skyrim and plotting ways to end the tyranny of horrible video game adaptations.

Chicovia is in charge of wrangling the creatives that run amok. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering as well as an MBA. Prior to moving into business, she engaged in a more technically driven career that helped her develop problem solving and risk assessment skills. She used this experience to leverage into a career of negotiating major transactions as well as project management, consulting and strategy development.
Chicovia is an avid fan of sports, when her teams are not killing her little by little. She also enjoys sci-fi shows and movies and constantly believes the real world is delving into the dystopian movie scenes of such favorites as Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. She's Team Skynet all day, supports vigilantes and lists Sidney Bristow (Alias) and Michael Weston(Burn Notice) as her favorite fake people to watch.
In her spare time, she loves to travel the world and has a goal to see all seven continents in her lifetime.

When she is not begging Lauren, Sr. and Lauren, Jr. to stop giving away free content on social media and lamenting the perils of content vultures, she spends her time in complex media negotiations with her trio of tiny humans ages 6, 4, and 2. They are currently winning, but she thinks she has a chance at the next round. She has very strong opinions on tacos, and the best types of crushed ice. Her hobbies include generating unpopular opinions, indoctrinating her children in the Marvel vs. DC showdown and family travel.
She still eats gluten.
